Pick your private military company carefully

Your faction sets your base and who you can team with. Friends must pick the same one to squad up.

Use landing zones: helicopters drop you at LZs across the island. Learn the ones near your contracts to save long walks.

Medical is detailed: treat bleeding first, then fractures and pain. Carry tourniquets, bandages, splints and painkillers.

Take it slow. Ballistics are realistic and enemies hit hard

Move between cover and avoid open fields.

Stick to your early vendor contracts to unlock better gear and vendor levels.
