Privacy Policy

• Account info: email, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), username, display name, avatar, bio, platform/region preferences.
• Activity you create: squads, Task Beacons, community builds, votes, follows, map and checklist progress, achievements, Nexus AI conversations.
• Online status: a "last active" timestamp used for green/amber/grey dots. You can hide it in profile settings.
• Usage analytics: pages viewed, clicks and device/browser info, collected via PostHog. We honor browser Do Not Track.

Nexus+ payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only your subscription status, plan and Stripe customer reference to unlock membership features.

• Run your account, profile, squads, Beacons and saved progress.
• Power Nexus AI answers and enforce daily usage limits.
• Send account emails (confirmation, password reset) and notifications you can see in-app.
• Improve the product and detect abuse.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run Nexus Play: hosting/database & authentication, Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), and our AI provider (to answer Copilot questions).

Public profile info (username, avatar, bio, badges, posted builds, squads) is visible to other players by design. Your email is never shown publicly.

Affiliate links (e.g. Amazon) take you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies.

You can view and edit your profile at any time, hide your online status, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@nexusplay.life. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have additional rights to access, correct, delete and object to processing; we honor those requests.

We keep data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons. Data is protected by encryption in transit and per-user access rules in our database.

Nexus Play is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site, and the date above will change.
