GTA 6 release date: everything confirmed about November 19, 2026
The launch date, the platforms, the full delay history, and what is still unannounced.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar confirmed that date on November 7, 2025, and Take-Two has publicly reaffirmed it twice since — in May 2026 and again on July 19, 2026, both times in response to rumours of a third delay.
The road here: Trailer 1 arrived on December 5, 2023 with a Fall 2025 target. On May 2, 2025 Rockstar moved the game to May 26, 2026. On November 7, 2025 it moved again to November 19, 2026.
Also confirmed: the two platforms, the state of Leonida, the return to Vice City, the dual protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, and pricing — $79.99 standard, $99.99 Ultimate Edition, with pre-orders open since June 25, 2026.
Not confirmed: a PC version, anything about an online mode or a GTA Online successor, the full vehicle roster, radio stations, or install size. Anything claiming specifics on those is speculation until Rockstar says otherwise.
We update this page whenever Rockstar publishes something official, and the GTA 6 hub countdown tracks the date directly.
